When we lived in Arizona we had a wonderful lemon tree in our backyard! I was so sad living it behind to move to Montana. But my in-laws are ever so kind to me and every year they send me a box or two of lemons they pick in their neighborhood. It is like receiving a box of sunshine in the middle of winter. They also juice a whole bunch of them and freeze them in 1 and 2 cup bags and bring them to me when they come to visit every summer.
I love so many things made with lemon but our favorite is homemade lemonade. Here is our recipe!
Homemade Lemonade
Our family’s favorite refreshing drink
Servings: 10
Ingredients
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 cups water
- 2 cups fresh squeezed lemon juice
- 12 cups water
Instructions
- Dissolve 2 cups of sugar with 2 cups of water.
- Add lemon juice and mix well.
- Dilute with water until you achieve your perfect balance.
- Serve and Enjoy!
