My Story

I began doing investment cooking in January 1999. I have found that not only is it a money saver, it is also a wonderful treat to be able to pull out dishes that only need to be heated.

Now with 4 children it is even more necessary to have meals that are easily pulled together. I still enjoy cooking dinner from scratch but by having meals in the freezer, I can cook when our schedule allows. That way I enjoy it even more.

If you don't like to cook - using Investment Cooking will consolidate your cooking into a few hours instead of having to cook every night. You will greatly reduce your stress and the temptation to go out to dinner because you "don't feel like cooking tonight."

I use MasterCook by Sierra to organize my recipes and make my shopping list. 30-Day Gourmet's Freezer Cooking Manual provides some wonderful forms if this option is not available for you.
